Bart C. Cusick III, 66, of Stockton, California passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2011. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Denis Church, 157 Washington Street, Westwood, MA. Burial will follow on April 18, 2011 at Massachusetts National Veterans Cemetery in Bourne, Mass.
Bart was born in Springfield, Mass. to Bartholomew Cusick II and Mary (Lyons) Cusick on November 25, 1944. He went to Kaiserslautern High School in Germany, and later graduated from Fitchburg State College. Bart served his country in the military and retired a Major with the United States Air Force. He was actively involved in IPMS (International Plastic Modeler’s Society) and spent his later life working to pass on the love of history and modeling to future generations. Bart is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his daughter, Mary Frances Cusick of California, son, Bart C. Cusick IV of North Carolina, and his fiancée, Susan LeGreco of California. Memorials may be given to Disabled Veterans Charities.
